Did you know…

Your computer can take a picture of itself?

Capturing a screenshot is as simple as pressing Alt + Print Screen. This will screenshot the active window onto your clipboard, making it possible to paste into an email or document!

This is especially helpful when you get a computer error message. I recommend for KYCC staff to take a screenshot of any error message and email it to me with a brief description of the problem.

You can also crop the screenshot through the Picture tab to reduce the picture size and focus the image to what is important.

By having a screenshot of the error message, our IT department can fix the error faster.

Now you know.
